This video is almost split in two halves! in the first half we catch an overnight bus from the resort town of Nha Trang up to Danang and then make our way down to Hoi An.

What we didn’t know was that the day we arrived was the same day as the Hoi An lantern festival!

So in the second half of this video we get to experience the awesome Lantern Festival that happens around the full moon of each month in Hoi An.

It was AMAZING!

  26. I booked 1 way fly from Nga Trang to Da Nang for $30 and the fly was only 1 hour. Fly tickets are no that expensive.

  31. You guys seem to be just a step ahead of my wife and I. We were in Nha Trang last week and headed to Hoi An tomorrow afternoon. We’ve just spent two days in Da Nang and I really hope you guys didn’t just bypass Da Nang as it has turned out to be my most favorite place in all of Vietnam. It’s way better than Nha Trang IMO and I’ve been all over Vietnam as I’ve spent about 4 months here. If you get a chance be sure to head to Sa Pa

  39. Hoi An is something out of this world tbh. I love the lanterns, the vibe there but it is a little bit touristy. Don't forget to jam in Da Nang!!! The beaches and foods are overwhelming too.
